ETPEE

In the past years we have noted that especially the European footwear industry was scared to use foreign made ETPU material in their products as the use of this material might upset the patentholders like Adidas and Basf.

Since 2019 , DSM Engineering Plastics also based in The Netherlands has launched their ARNITEL copolyester elastomer, a TPE family based on polyesters.

Arnitel, an engineering TPE proven to be a benchmark spring material.

Especially the ETPEE Energy Return Foam has a higher percentage of return than e-TPU.

This type of ETPEE does not have a patent conflict with the e-TPU of our competitors, so the european footwear industry can grow.

Our ETPEE can be used in the SCM (Steam Chest Molding) and/or RF Wave Foamer processing and is especially available in the densities 0,16 ( 100-105g/L) and 0,19 (110-120g/L) the most used densities in the footwear industry.
